Very few fanciers actually know that as a young man George Busschaert was employed as a loft cleaner or that Emiel Deweert was at one time the Vereecke loft manager.
Many pedigrees of the long distance Champions of today decend from the likes of ‘Felix’, ‘Young Felix’ and ‘Klein Felix’.
Also The original ‘Crack’ owned by Andre & Patrick Desmet was bred by Roger Vereecke, one of the best breeders in all of Belgium of all time.
